“ Cup of Joe has been one of my favorite places to come and hang out. The atmosphere is amazing, I’ve never heard bad music in here, and the style gives me a lovely hippie vibe. Their deserts and savory pastries are always amazing, and my favorite drink is their ice mocha. The price is well worth it, usually costing around 5.50 for a double and between 4-7 for their deserts and savory pastries. ”
“ Husband went on a business trip and brought me home a gluten-free molasses/gingerbread muffin, which is the BEST muffin I’ve ever eaten - being gluten-free for over 20 years! Husband said the place is really cool and staff was MORE than helpful! ”
“ BIG CUP OF SLAAAAY if I do say so myself. This spot has quirky decorations, delicious baked goods (that sell out quite quickly), good coffee, and a nice ambiance. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Comfy options as well as some tables for people to be doing work. Mt only advice is that if you’re aiming to sit outside, sit in front bc the traffic near the backside can be loud. Also there is parking in the back which is nice and convenient Stopped here on a summer day around 10am and it was quite bustling, but died down around 11 or so. The bagels were already sold out sadly by time arriving. Coffee was pretty good, I got the nutter butter iced latte and it was ok. Hoped for more of a peanut butter flavor than a hint of toffee, but it was good. Friends had a cinnamon roll chai that was phenomenal. ”

The environment is inviting, cozy, and relaxing to take meetings, connect with friends, or get some work done. The staff are the nicest people to greet you in the morning. The baked goods are DELICIOUS. It’s almost a problem... And the coffee is top notch. I highly suggest you come if you haven’t and let me know what you think! ”

Staff is always friendly and remembers my usual coffee order. Great place to journal, read or work alone or meet up with friends. “ Cup of Joe is such a cute little cafe in downtown Cedar Falls. The coffee is possibly some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. It tastes like what you want Starbucks seasonal coffees to taste like. I had the Onyx Mocha and it was magical! Reminded me of the holidays in a cup! Also, I tried their NYC everything bagel with the fluffiest cream cheese. It was the size of my fave and so perfectly seasoned. The customer service is top notch and the owner was very welcoming! I can’t wait to come back and try more items! ”

I got the mocha (Iknow, I’m boring) and liked it wasn’t over sweetened (normally i gotta ask for 1/2 sweet) staff were friendly, and busy, seemed genuine. Will absolutely return! ”
